For years, nutrition experts conducted a study to identify the nutritional benefits of certain foods. They studied proteins, carbohydrates, calories, fats, minerals and vitamins to determine health benefits for the human body.

Here are some foods that provide many benefits to the body and your health, as quoted by the website Methods of Healing.

- Honey
Research shows that honey contains antibacterial and antiviral. Studies over the mention of honey useful for wound healing and good for digestive health.

- Green Tea
Research shows that green tea helps reduce the risk of cancer, stroke and heart disease. Green tea is also believed to help prevent type diabetes and osteoporosis, and relieve inflammation of the intestine.

- Walnuts
Eating 1.5 ounces of walnuts every day can be a diet low in saturated fat and cholesterol may reduce the risk of coronary heart disease.

- Blueberry
Is one of the fruits with high antioxidant levels. The content of substance in it to help slow down aging, reduce the risk of diabetes, lower cholesterol, improve motor skills, and support urinary health and eyesight. Blueberries also have anti-inflammatory properties.

- Pomegranate

Prevention and Cure Breath Problem

There are ways you can make sure that your breath won’t be categorized as a lethal weapon.

- Brush your teeth for at least 3 minutes after each meals and before you sleep. Don’t forget to brush the roof of your mouth and your tongue as far back as you can get without triggering the gagging reflex. If you can’t brush immediately after meals, gargle several times.
- Use a breath-freshener that has little or no alcohol.
- Floss regularly with unscented floss. Flossing rids the teeth of decaying material in the tiny spaces between the teeth that toothbrushes can’t reach.
- Have a through dental check-up at least every six months.
- Eat plenty of vegetable and fruit. The fibers in these kinds of food not only help to eliminate the layer of mucus at the back of the mouth, they also prevent constipation.
- Avoid garlic and onions, or at least don’t consume too much of those. Chew on clove or parsley afterward, they can freshen up the breath.
- Don’t smoke
